You might want to reconsider, though, since this is an Intel chipset supporting DDR for P4, and that is new.

Not much left for RDRAM, really, Intel's 815 replaced the 820, leaving the 840 the one placeholder for RDRAM systems. But Reliance is now shipping a dual socket 370, PC133 chipset, so the 840 has lost its monopoly there too.

There is no longer any need to buy Rambus for any configuration. Boards and systems using the Reliance chipset are available from Tyan, Supermicro, Compaq, IBM, etc. No wonder why production of Rambus is being cut.
