Yes, I do not think as highly of a bachelor's degree in government from Harvard as you do, nor do I care if Bush had to be instructed in budget arcana. I do not, incidentally, concede that ABC, especially in a piece done by Peter Jennings, is objective. On the MBA, well, oil exploration is inherently chancy, so who cares? It is generally acknowledged that as managing partner of the Rangers, he was the one responsible for making it into a lucrative franchise.

I would, in any case, not expect you to agree with me that Bush has a sounder grasp of the issues. But bringing in polls is too, too rich! Does that mean that when Bush is ahead, he has a better grasp of the issues, but when he is behind, he doesn't? That if he wins, you will acknowledge that he has a better grasp of the issues? That retrospectively, you acknowledge that Ronald Reagan had a great grasp of the issues? LOLOL!
