Don't forget, this is the same "idiot" who called for the Dow at 10,000 by 2000. I'm surprised anyone would think he's THAT stupid.
Dow 110,000 actually makes alot of sense. Think...where was the Dow in 1974 versus now? Of course, if you go to 1950, the gains weren't 1000% to 1974, but it was substantial enough to take notice.
Corrections occur when the portions of the system are out of balance. Crashes occur when the whole system is out of balance. I'd say we're more likely to see alot of the first, and very few of the second.
April was clearly a correction. Nobody can, or would, dispute that. Certainly, things have not gone well since then, but they haven't been too stinkin' bad, either.
I say Dow 80,000 by 2025...still a nice gain.
