Some anecdotal notes...I was browsing through Business Week after Sunday dinner and noticed an article on DSL vs. cable. Basically, they indicated that although in absolute numbers of users, cable is still ahead, DSL is catching up fast with a speedier rate of deployment. They noted that this is leaking into the advertising with LEC's taking shots at cable Internet service and vice-versa. I have noticed stepped up advertising by Verizon on DSL services but was not able to even get a quote for my office due to proximity problems (too far from CO). Attendees to DSLcon are arriving to fall in New England at its finest. It's sunny, warm but with a hint of autumn in the air and the first few trees are turning colors. Time to harvest some big pumpkins.
