Doc, (who likes to see Republicans that disagree with him die) I doubt whether your feeble analysis is anywhere near correct. Gore isn't talking about issues. All he's doing is ducking debates (Meet The Press, Larry King) and sending out sound bites over mainstream media outlets. When it comes right down to actually punching that hole in the booth, most voters will feel that sickening pit in their stomach and stay well clear of Albert Gore Jr's name. They may not be crazy about Bush, but they have no respect for the delusional liar Gore. Except of course those die-hard socialist who want to expand the nanny state tenfold in the next decade.
