Mike, I see no reason why the rest of the world shouldn't start accepting other currencies as well as the dollar in all transactions. The US has an enormous advantage over everyone else. We can run up IOUs in staggering amounts in our own currency which we can then simply inflate away at the rest of the world's expense. I'm sure there are politics involved that are beyond my awareness, but the fact of the matter remains that foreigners are dumber than a rock for accumulating our paper as fast as they are now. Someone is going to get left holding the bag eventually. Wayne
