I still really like FFIV as a company. The question now is why the heavy recent insider sales? The market is not going to chance holding F5 before earnings when top insiders are selling. With the low float and high short interest, it dosen't take much send F5 into a freefall tailspin. Insiders have sold before even when they had a good Q coming.

My track record for catching falling knives is not that good. I expect next Q results will beat expections and that should bring the stock price back up to recent highs if the market holds up. F5 is a traders stock and needs to split to increase the float and reduce volitily. The new CEO should be good if he can get more anaylist to cover F5.

If you are looking long-term (6 months +), I would buy now and average up or down no matter which way it goes next week. Many good things down the road. The Dell deal should start showing up in the next couple of Q's and the new caching products just hitting the street are very good.
