Some thoughts on TWX....

From this long time TWX bull, things are looking pretty good for the longer term. Shorter term I suspect the recent Spread Bull Trap will lead to a moderate downtrend to the low $80's. TWX has held up quite well as the stock remains on a solid RS Buy vs the S&P 500:

Viewing things from TWX's perspective, AOL's move to acquire the company looks very shrewd indeed. AOL is acquiring unparalleled media assets which will imbue it with content and financial substance. If not for the merger, I believe AOL would be a lot lower than it is right now.

I think the combined companies will be one of the few winners of the "New Economy" stocks.
