Rusty - RE: #26 - way off base on Ballmer. He is a "professionally trained manager" both educationally (Harvard and Stamford) and at Proctor & Gamble, where he was a highly regarded manager who proposed and executed several successful and innovative strategies in what surely must be one of the most commoditized product lines anywhere.

Most who have had any personal experience with him - and that includes a large number of people, as he spends a lot of his time in personal contact with customers, suppliers, and employees of MSFT - regard him as frank, insightful, easy to get along with, humorous, and very smart.
