Rising Oil prices!!! I've come to the conclusion, this is all a big political scam and a market scam to boot. Why do oil prices continue to go up? Is it because our brethrens throughout this world are using more than their fare share? Is it because we Americans are all driving SUV's? What is the real issue at hand? Why would politics enter into this picture? The real reason why the price of oil is rising is due to fact, reserves are down, and nothing more. NOT because OPEC is not pumping enough to supply demand. However, we have plenty of oil in the US that we have not tapped into, nor want to tap into at this point, thanks to our wonderful environmentalists Clinton/Gore who want to preserve our great nation's land. We rely more on OPEC than ever before. Now, here's the deal.
Clinton will NOT simply ride off into the sunset without gaining the spotlight for one final time. Clinton is to predictable and wants to end on a good note. With oil prices at 10 year record highs, he knows the public will only remember the last day's of his tenure(consider the fact, Americans have the shortest memories of all world society's), and he wants to be remembered as a savour, a hero of sorts to the American people. What better way to do this, by announcing OPEC has capped the cost oil, opened the spigots more, and last, but not least, the ace up the sleave that I will mention later.
I suspect, before this trump card is played out, the negative campaign that the sky's are falling will be broadcast by CNBC and every other financial news channel. The markets are having a hard time selling off as it is, therefore the markets really need a catalyst for a sell-off. What better way to get the markets to sell-off by pumping up the fact that oil prices are surging?????? Just one week ago, NYSE brokers on the floor were buying up every financial stock in the world. Do you think they were worried about the price of oil? You see, there always needs to be a reason for something. Investors need a reason to buy, and a reason to sell. It happens every 1/4 of every year. So where does this take us?
I suspect the analyst on CNBC and all other financial news channels, will continue to say the sky is falling and we see no real end in site. Also, the next PPI will blast the last PPI to really shake up things up. Remember this last PPI came in below expectations. How could that be? I'm mean really? How could that possibly be correct? Wait till the next PPI comes out. The increased price of oil will definitely be factored in, and investors will dump for any price they can get their hands on. The markets will sell-off and the institutions will gladly be there to downtick every thing on 100 share sells. Then that's when our chameleon will happily come in to save the day.
All the damage will have occurred by then. The markets will have sold off to some's delight, me included. The price of oil will have hit an all-time high of $39 per barrel. Heating oil will be at an all-time high, shortly after our weather gods will have predicted the worst winter in years. Although they're already on record as saying they predict a mild one this year. Gore who has continued to gain strength as of late, will ultimately start to lose market share, due to the Bush campaign finally realizing that they too, can capitalize on the higher fuel prices. Now the stage is set for our chameleon. The one, the only, Billlllllllll Clintonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, to rise up from the shadows of Gore, to steal the spotlight once again, before he rides off into the New York sunset. CNBC will stumble over all the negative tapes, to find the positive prerecorded vcr tapes to throw into the video machine. Bill will announce the US has agreed with Venezuela for them to keep up to 10mil in heating reserves for this winter, to control the price of heating oil(BTW...Venezuela made news tonight by announcing they would do that. They have 10mil in reserves in the Bahamas) The weather gods, will announce that their previous forecast for a harsh winter were off based, and they have revised. OPEC will announce they are opening the valves as much as needed to cap oil prices. And last, but not least, Bill will pull out his trump card announcing that "we as Americans, must rely more on our own resources(IE open up the US valves, and sign into bill, the allowance for more drilling) than ever before, therefore Americans will still be able to live in prosperity than poverty." I, Bill Clinton, your President will and have made possible that our great nation will continue to make....yady yady yady. Then Bill will hand the reigns over to Gore, and he will be hailed as the savour once again, while Gore will always be viewed as his shadow. Then Gore will have his toughest battle yet, a mild recession by late next year. (They always seem to come after an election year) Then all the hypocrites will come out of the wookwork stating they didn't vote for the guy. When really, they voted for Clinton's shadow, trying forever to hold onto the legacy that Bill created. One of deceit, distrust, dishonesty, and yet the one that washes away the former, a time of great prosperity. You see, it doesn't matter who's in office, as long as you have prosperity. Our prosperity as we know it, for the last several years, will come to an end, and Gore will feel the pressure of being a president in truly difficult times. Yet, another chapter of this great book we call, Life!
