Scumbria, High gas prices and unavailability will help. Since oil is a limited resource and at one point we will start to run out, the high prices and unavailability will come naturally. I am not sure why the governments want to fight this battle now, rather than wait and fight it when it's real. It's kind of like Intel's adoption of Rambus technology. If you fight the bandwidth battle before you need to fight it, all you end up with are self inflicted injuries. With this in mind, the European countries seem masochistic to an outside observer. Joe
