40,000 out of 4 million? That aint too bad... <grin> I happen to be postured in such a way that I effectively bet on a soft landing and recovery in growth 4th qtr and next year. That means I'm likely to get kicked in the shins. I didn't anticipate the levels energy costs would rise to- and now am concerned that the downturn may be longer and deeper. Fortunately, I did take profits in quite a few positions and have a good portion of cash I can deploy on the next bear rally...
