I bring out arguments against Dubya (not my candidate). You break those arguments apart, analyse and present your arguments in favor of him. Now you bring out arguments against Gore (not your candidate). I break those arguments apart, analyse and present my case. Ultimately it helps all in deciding who is a better candidate. If Gore gets elected, you have to acknowledge him as your president and if Dubya gets elected I have to acknowledge that he is the president.
