I don't know if they stayed in. You never know on SI. Many of those posters don't post here.

However, for those calculation, I've done that for myself about 4 months ago. It's frightening what would have happened if you held ALL your shares. But hindsight is always that way.

If anyone want to know their personal situation, YAHOO charts shows a mulityear (1,2,5 etc) year chart, with all the split points and the split distributions sizes (2:1, 3:1, etc).

I owned CSCO in 1992, as well......and EMC. If I held both all these years, through all the splits, I'd have a very blooming fortune!

But I didn't. I TRADED them!

If you can pick the right stocks and hold them, you will get wealthy, no doubt about it.
