<with signs that Amazon's merchandise category expansion may not be working>

Hi Glenn. This is news to me. Any thots as to which categories the author is referring?

Rob,

This is not news. You have just been away <G> There has been no "traction" in tools, garden, kitchen, etc. Amazon is still known and selling well boos, music, and video. They did well with toys last year except they did not know how to buy for that product so the deal with Tor- R Us is good for both. I do not know how much that will add to Amazon revenue and "profits." The amount is "undisclosed."

Rob, I think books, cds, and videos still make up the majority of AMZN's sales. I'm guessing electronics, tools, etc., haven't expanded as much as expected.
