Talisman (TLM) vs. Lundin Oil (LOILY) vs. Hurricane (HHLF)

Tomas:

LOILY is even more attractively priced than Talisman, I agree with Razorbak:

Message 14375268;

Interestingly enough, despite the huge run-up so far this year, I think Hurricane Hydrocarbons is still more attractively priced than both Talisman Energy and Lundin Oil...

According to Wasylkiw, if you use 12-month trailing earnings for the company, you are likely to find that, using a $10.25 share price, the company's P/E ratio is about 4.5 -- a very attractive number. However, he says "using the yardstick of forecast earnings, some independent analysts are calculating a P/E of 2.5." And remarkably, he says, these same analysts are calculating a forward price-to-cash-flow ratio of 2.5 also. If these analyses are accurate, they are talking about performance with few parallels among Canadian producers.
