Tony
I don't see that kind of wishing on AMD stock.
you right about wasting time but I am just wondering about those "we'll crash you" and "we'll put you in a poor house" or "we'll make beg for food on a corner" etc. intel buzz phrases that we learned to love so much :-))
Regards
-Albert

Tony...re:It is a free Internet, you know.

Tony, I don't know about you but I paid for a lifetime membership to SI. I wouldn't exactly call that free. What about the terms e-commerce,B to B, etc.? The internet may be free (how much do you pay your ISP?), but the "free" part is long gone. Also if you are referring to the term "free" as a reference to allowing any and everything, well this moderated thread is supposed to deal with that issue also.

I don't know if you know this, but the idea to start this moderated thread was mine. chic hearne did the leg work to get it started and Mani agreed to moderate. chic and I agreed that we didn't have the time to moderate and Mani gracefully accepted the responsibility. The reason chic and I wanted a moderated thread was not to stop all ideas or even comment about AMD or Intel, but to rid ourselves of guys like Paul and Elmer. Time was an issue for us and we didn't want to sort through all the mess to get to the good stuff. If you refer back to Daniel Schuh's post to you earlier Paul had 40 of 122 posts. How much time do you think that takes to sort through? I tried the ignore button, but that just didn't work for me. Hence, the idea to start this thread. I am going to PM Mani and ask for a lifetime ban of Paul. If I succeed, then there goes your "free" right out the window. Also, I apologize to everyone on the thread for my rant to Paul earlier.

There are very many valuable posters on this thread. Jim McMannis, John Petzinger, Mani, Scumbria, Milo, Jozef, andreas, Bill Jackson, and dozens of others (sorry if I didn't have time to list everyone). I am very grateful to these guys, and paying for a lifetime membership was well worth the price of admission. It's like paying for a subscription service and getting dozens of writers that contribute.

Ed P.

PS...this will be my last post on this subject.

Dear Tony,

re: <I haven't seen a message board thread yet that doesn't have some negativeness, call it bashing, from a competing camp. There are some anti-Intel posters that wish INTC would go to zero, it's so obvious from the tone of their posts. I don't see that kind of wishing on AMD stock.

This is a waste of time talking about this, but if certain posters really upset you, you don't have to look here. It is a free Internet, you know.

Why don't you follow your own suggestion -

Milo, why don't you speak for yourself instead of being a second hand mouthpiece for Charles.
