Ted - I'm writing more AMD puts and picking up shares at this price. I hope folks here haven't been hurt too bad but you have to ride out times like this. This could last for a while.

I think you may be right...too many companies are warning re earnings.

Apparently the Compaq compiler AMD uses for their SPECfp2000 submissions don't take advantage of the SIMD in 3DNow!. Makes the Athlon's score look very good compared to the PIII's SSE enhanced scores. Can't wait to see what the Athlon's fp score is with DDR SDRAM. I wonder if AMD will have the guts to submit their SPECint scores by then...
