DDR is no where in sight for what could legitimately be called volume production.

Uh, right. If you look at Dell's Dimension XPS B desktop line using Rambus, the standard video controller has 64 mb of DDR. If you look at the much more reasonably priced Dimension 4100 series, the standard video controller has 32 mb of DDR. Offhand, I'd say there's a good probability Dell is shipping more DDR memory than they are shipping RDRAM, and Dell probably ships far more RDRAM than anybody else.
