JW, I wanted to short the QQQ when the COMPX hits its upper wedge boundary at 4259. I wasn't quick enough, so I missed it. I had previously shorted it at 99, got stopped out at 99 1/2, and never reentered the position. I shorted the DIA when the Dow broke what I thought was an H&S neckline at 11,100, then bailed two days later when it looked like the index wasn't going down. This sell-off has been a combination of missed opportunities and small losses for me. The market really has a way of testing weak shorts, just as it does weak longs. Unless you've been really quick and caught the last two rallies just as they peaked at the upper wedge boundaries under 4300, it's been a tough market to short, IMHO. Not sure I'd enter one here, as the market has to rally at some point. Oh well...
