Peter, Rick, Tuck, Pseudo others... Thank you for showing me the welcome mat. I appreciate it. The extension of patent protection to programs is very unfortunate to my mind, particularly when you see the obvious programs that have been awarded patents. Let's see, Amazon I think has the patent on "one-click check-out" from an eCommerce site. Now, from a policy perspective, let's compare and contrast this with a patent application covering software that predicts protein folding for a human therapeutic and which uses a novel algorithm. LOL! Wilder
