Do you know what scares me about all of this, cosmicforce? The gap between the educated community riding the razor's edge of this research, and the ordinary person is just too great. It is almost as though two or more species of homo sapiens is being cultivated. In an evolutionary sense...I can see a situation in perhaps a hundred years down the road, where 80 % of the human race are sort of like the drones in bee colonies--existing to maintain the infrastructure of the intelligentsia. This probably sounds very strange, but in surfing through a ton of this information, and in juxtapositioning it alongside of the ordinary world we live in...well, it is almost like a new priesthood developing: Those few that have the power of information/knowledge versus those many that wait for directions...Scary.
