"Merrill Lynch said on Monday that U.S. telecommunications service provider stocks may be set for a positive swing following several months of underperforming the market."

Thread- My translation:

"After scaring the pants off everyone and successfully have driven the sector down, we've established ours, and our clients positions, and now will attempt to pump up the sector. Rest assured we will get the other big houses to join the bandwagon too."

Hi trans:

Merill may be early. The XTC.X just broke below
1300, and I am looking for a bottom around 1200
(Oct. 99 level).

Regards,

Bernard levy

Hi trans:

ML was perhaps a few days early, but it's time
to buy the telecoms. They are at rock bottom, and
after the VZ strike, the rumors of Armstrong's
ouster, and FON's warning, it's hard to imagine
there are any bad news left to come out.

Good luck to all,

Bernard Levy
