A member of my family is so incensed at the question on ANY form regarding "race", he either inserts "Race=Human" or "Race= Which ONE of the past 5 Generation Lines?" ????? (16 individuals for all of us ) This last comment is serious.....At what stage do each of us who are either born here, or become a Naturalized Citizen, become just a PLAIN OLE' AMERICAN....with no Hyphen... ??? Every one of us descends from people. Every one of us has a heritage of some sort, and most of us celebrate that/those cultural heritage/s. IMO, we citizens have allowed the media and politicians to divide us, by allowing the hyphen. We are ALL American if we were born here, or become a citizen here. KLP
