I see buying on CSCO but stock not going up... could it be shorts piling on?

I never thought I'd need the ignore on this thread ...

... but this guy and his short-hype is beginning to make me reach for the trigger more and more often.

Softechie - "they are trying to prop it up"

be serious - how can you prop up a stock that is typically among the most active, and today has traded over 53M shares so far? Thats a pretty ludicrous statement. Sure, people can / will try to prop up stocks with lower floats, etc - but no one is foolish enough to try and prop up a stock with such a huge trading volume.

Or perhaps, was the main reason of your comment - just to throw in "how can you prop up a house of cards"?

I've bitten my tongue here the last week, but can't you please abide by the thread's decorum? I know Rande has asked you publically a couple times now. If you wnat to make critical comments on a stock, please provide some supporting comments.

I for one am extremely tired of all your hint comments, your innuedos, your pumping of the one telecom stock you hold, etc. Since you seem to not want to listen to rande, perhaps if you heard it from a few others here, you might get the picture.

I enjoy this thread here, because it is much more civil than many others. Plus, if folks disgaree, they can do so, but in a manner where they spell out their reasons and arguements. If you want to post - them please CONTRIBUTE,

If you think CSCO is going to $50 - tell me why - I would be interested to hear any well thought out arguments on it. But to just make off the cuff comments - helps no one. Thanks

PS - In case you are wondering, I own a very small position in CSCO from 58+ earlier in the day - and have traded it a couple times today, quite successfully
