Well I still own 40k of worthless nine. But while trading nine and owning 110 shares at one time, I now have a buyin cost on my remaining share of about -6.00 a share. Now I don't expect the price of nine share to go below 0 and thus I'm very happy with my nine investment. I still own a little aplx and sold off most at much higher values. The shares of aplx I still own I bought at 2 1/8 and I sold 5 times as many as I own at over 20. If you read my posts of over the last several months you would read of my changing assessment of these stocks.

So nine is and most likele will remain worthless.

Aplx may get their act together in crm and are a small company, only 10+ million shares. Their linux foray was a flop, I don't know if their is any value in it. But my rational for aplx in the first place was what I called a back door Linux play where name reconition in association with Linux would help them sell their real value added in crm and realtime analysis. But applix is a small company and my guess is the euphoric rise of Linux stocks distracted the company from their main business of crm and growth stalled. The new folks who have been running crm may getting the aplx house in order. This quarter's revenues are going to be a sign plus or minus.

My current pick for an undervalued (penny?) stock is eggs. If they continue to reduce losses at or ahead of guidance then I think they will be a very profitable b2c conpany.

Very few if any of my several computers don't have components from egghead.com They have a well organized site with good prices and having purchased several items over time, the provide a good value service.

Now if you read all my posts on SGI you would find I've been very positive and very negative and then very positive and now I'm cautiously positive. But the travails of the technology market in the last several has me cautiosly positive on technology.

But hey it's soccer season again.
