The Rambus high of $135 was only the pre-market one day high. In fact, pre-market and after market quotes don't count. Yahoo states the all time high at 127 which was the high right at the open of that same day and it is what all financial resources show as high. finance.yahoo.com

So now you do the percentages:
127 to 78 = 39% drop
48.5 to 26 = 46% drop

The problem for AMD however is that the stock sat in the 45 area for quite a while (unlike the 127 1 minute thing for RMBS) and many people bought in that area. So AMD is not only down more than Rambus, it's also down with much more pain for the AMD shareholders that bought lots of stock up there. At least the AMD shareholders should be feeling happy that their CEO cashed in million and millions of his shares at those highs. So at least somebody got out with some profit ;-) <vbg>
