That's your opinion, one that I can't come close to verifying.

In listening to RMBS sponsored conference calls, I get a very different impression.

it would not surprise me to hear that Micron would have spend more money on its lawyers fees for the lawsuits than they would have paid Rambus for a few years of royalties.

RMBS has a market capitalization approaching $10 billion. You are suggesting that their largest potential source of income is less than Micron's legal fees vs. Rambus?

Think about it.
