What is the difference?> Just to set the record straight (at least as far as my opinion goes) the difference is that this moderated thread is not about the suppression of speech or ideas it is about the suppression of unecessary abuse and the creation of a community that can discuss the topic at hand without having to endure grade school level behavior. All communities have laws to protect their citizenry and the continual invocation of the freedom of speech to the exclusion of all other concepts that exist in a free society such as the right to live without an unreasonable level of continual harassment is unbalanced and simplistic. <Where does any poster get off thinking he/she can ask anyone else to get lost.> The expression of one poster telling another to get lost is far from the worst that is seen even on this thread but no matter how you view his particular post he doesn't speak for the thread as a whole and extrapolating his post to mean that this thread is oppressively controlled is ridiculous. Tony, You know what the Chinese say:, "A persistent drip wears away a stone" Well, Paul is that persistent drip. Just drip drip drip, all the time, just poison though, not water, against AMD. What is his reason to do this? Beats me. I lack the twisted personality to do that kind of thing day in and day out. Time for another vote, methinks. 60 days or more this time. He came back last time....soon the bad crap words crept in and then the FUD and now we are back in the same old soup again.
