A simple typo. Not difficult for anyone over "idiot" intelligence to figure out from context. Maybe not for an idiot savant, though... It should have read: "It would seem to me it's important only if you are a music retailer." My point should have been clear even with the typo. Music retailers may well be left out in the cold as we move into the age of digital music distribution. As may well many other current forms of commerce. So be it. It's not "important" that any of them survive. What's important is that we move ahead, in a manner that benefits consumers and society as a whole. I do think that the music distributers are more of an endangered species than the music retailer. I certainly will not shed a tear for them, though I might for the friendly neighborhood music retailer. (Most of which have already been pushed out of business by the big chains.) It would be nice if the local retailers can survive. Not "important", but "nice". But it's certainly not "important" that the chains do.
