As for the other laws they could fit under maintain public order and protecting lives. BTW - Even in cases of protecting lives I think we go to far. IMO there should be no law requiring adults to wear seat belts. I wear one every
time but if I decided not to that should be my own business. I would be risking my own life but it is my life not the property of the government.
