The tooling business may be taken from Lenox by the patent holders because of a default in payment, and my guess is that the terms of the seizure will be terrible for shareholders -- a token, at best; maybe nothing. And rumor has it that fifty million shares are now outstanding.

The time to have acted was 6 months after Bill Lloyd announced that an annual meeting would be held in 6 months. The lack of a meeting was the time to strike -- maybe Ken and others would have been fired -- it surely would have been right -- and maybe Ken would be alive now.

Of course, the idea of a better result assumes that there was any technology to begin with.... and that is no longer clear. The story really may have been fraud, pure and simple.

The best story ever? It is alleged that Bill Lloyd identified financial irregularities and informed the Board in writing. Those who could have responded believed that Ken was necessary.

What was necessary was that a competent polymer chemist be found to replace a man who brought misery to so many -- even physical misery, given the diseases that befell people close to the vision.

The last best hope was Mark Fischer, a smart guy among the not so smart; but he probably used the word "legal" once too often.

So much money was spent on the Dann Deaver path... and now even the tooling business may be lost to Lenox, or retained with little benefit to those who paid the bill.

Time to send the story to the authorities in Michigan and Ontario and to forget about it. If you have details to contribute, please use Silicon Investor to send me a private message.
