Hi Steve,
We are still in a 'stock picker's market'. We are also in the time period of the year where there is very little positive news and the wall of worry gets ever higher. My indicators are very negative for the short term. We've had the FED apply the breaks very hard and six rate hikes have shown more than a trickle effect. With the dollar seemingly having a mind of it's own lately, I wouldn't be shocked to see the FED surprise everyone and ease if things start looking too scary. I've got many caution signs flashing but I still find it hard to subscribe to the total doom and gloom being pushed around. The current scenario is playing out perfectly, IMO. Keep the powder dry! We will be facing a solid opportunity to go long very soon (within a month), one that only comes around every couple of years or so.
