Hey insect, are you bored with NTAP or something? I'm beginning the think the sky's the limit for it!

I have marked the afternoon of April 15 in my planner in red! "When Tom says go big into something, do it!" I will never forget you telling me to buy out-of-the-money fall options on NTAP, strike price 100 (SELLING AT 4 MEASLEY BUCKS OR SO), when NTAP was at 40 or 50. What in the world could they possibly be worth now? A yacht? A plane? A country? Maybe I could buy Cuba.

"Those were the days, my friend. I thought they'd never end."

Go RAMBO!!! Go Qualcomm!!! Please, please, go JDSU! Do you think there's potential for JDSU? It seems to be as flat as a pancake. What do you think it will take to turn around its psychology? I am flabberghasted that since the Porch party Qualcomm is now up and JDSU is way down. NTAP, of course, has installed jet engines since our gathering.

Having fun back on the Porch.

Go green, young man.

V: The GD Houses are at it again....IMO, they are engineering more sell-offs and volatility than we have seen in a long time....of course they have got to make their numbers <gg>....Goldman, MSDW and the others LOVE this volatility -- nothing like a little extra commission volume..;-)...I totally agree with this post from the Raging Bull thread...

This afternoon I got stopped out of my last position (in AVCI)....I am now 100% in cash....If I had only gone 100% into SEBL when I sold it 6 weeks ago -->> well that's another story <vbg>....The market will come back but I am going to wait for things to bottom out.

What's the view from the porch like ?

Best Regards,

Scott
