Corel goes to the discounted private placement well a second time this year: #reply-14409638 - and this time they're arranging an even bigger sale than the last time (and to think that now they have more of their cost-cutting in place!!)

Looks desperate and ultimately futile to me, though if they are able to draw on this equity line they will survive for longer than I had originally thought possible (so what else is new? See PNDA, TRBD and ABFG for all you need to know on that -- I'm still short those zombies!)

It will be interesting to see how urgently they draw upon this new equity line. I'm highly skeptical of their cost cutting ability, and their ability to slow the rate of decrease of their software revenues. Cutting Sales, Marketing, Advertising and R&D expenditures does have a way of doing that, eh?
