That's fine, as long as AMD doesn't release any products that don't work properly and demand a recall, like the products of some companies... "16 months is not very long when working on a project. It only appears long to investors sitting on short term calls which are about to expire." While I don't fit into that category, it does appear long to me. But more complaining won't do my any good so I just look forward to next year when the three pronged {TM Cirruslvr) Athlon approach of desktop, laptop, and server processors pans out. That's where AMD's future growth lies.
