John,

My concerns re. Los Alamos (lost/stolen "secrets", lost hard disks, lousy security, etc.)

Most of the LANL security concerns that have appeared have been politically driven by Clinton's Congressional enemies. They were looking to capitalize on Clinton's Chinese political associations, and found an easy Chinese scapegoat to take out. The facts that have emerged about the persecution of Wen Ho Lee have been rather sickening.

If Plutonium was missing that would be a real problem. Anyone with access to the Internet can figure out how to make a nuke, but the real security at Los Alamos centers around protecting nuclear material.
