When I bought my first shares nearly a year ago the PE was high then as well. I've almost got a 3X since then and the PE is still high. The way I see it, its all about growth, Ntap is growing revenues much faster than SUNW so it's PE should be much higher. BTW, sunw is my largest holding but ntap is my second largest followed by cree. I've read that the storage industry is growing 4X faster than the server industry. In my opinion any company participating in the storage market with viable products will do well over the next few years or so. I feel Ntap has the most to gain. I don't own EMC. I feel I've missed a most of that game but NTAP has made the NAS game very interesting indeed.
