Although this is a particularly egregious example of the management of a gold company running the company as their own personal fief, the management style of this company could be extrapolated thru out the gold industry. The ceo's of few of the producers take into account the interest of the shareholder when determining corporate policy. The documentation made public over this past year or so offers substantial evidence that much of the hedging engaged in by the big producers have benefited the brokers, bankers, and other professionals with little interest in the companies other than profit or exercising a political agenda. The producers swallowed the bait, hook line and sinker and are now snagged to the agendas of those entities that attractively packaged the derivatives. Ken
