IJ did not say anything about any TDMA operators switching to CDMA at the SABEW conference. In fact, he did spend some time discussing ATT's rigid commitment to the EDGE pathway. He sounded kind of like a parent discussing a wayward child. After listening to his remarks I don't expect ATT to switch. However, BellSouth may be a different matter. I think this TDMA operator is the source of the rumour started at the Gilder Conference IMO.
