CCAA - Del Favero Named to Cala Corporation's Undersea Resort Project Advisory Board

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2000--Joseph Cala,
Chairman and CEO of Cala Corporation (OTCBB:CCAA), today announced
that John P. Del Favero will serve as the President of the Advisory
Board for Cala Corporation's Undersea Resort Project.
In this capacity, Mr. Del Favero will take the lead role in
recruiting and convening world-class experts from various disciplines
for service on the Advisory Board.
Mr. Del Favero is currently the Vice President of Marketing for
ProfessorQ, Inc., the technology leader in providing natural language
search engine solutions for Web enterprises. Previously, Mr. Del
Favero was the Executive Director of the Scottish Technology and
Research Center, and Internet business incubator he developed and
launched in Silicon Valley on behalf of the Government of Scotland.
Mr. Del Favero has more than 10 years of software industry marketing,
sales and product management experience in the areas of multimedia,
networking, and natural language processing. He launched the digital
multimedia library line of business for Picture Network International
(PNI), which led to Eastman Kodak's acquisition of PNI in 1997. He
also served as Worldwide Product Marketing Manager for IBM
Corporation's COMDEX award-winning RISC System/6000 Video Server
software and led IBM's business planning efforts in the area of
interactive television set top box operating systems.
Prior to his software career, Mr. Del Favero served as Vice
President of Hartkemeier and Associates, a boutique venture capital
firm in Malibu, where he led an international effort to raise venture
capital during the Space Shuttle Challenger crisis for private space
transportation systems that were the prelude to NASA's current
$1 billion Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) program.
