Suddenly WIND is looking quite strong in the consumer area, albeit early days. The acquisitions of AudeSi and ICEsoft for TIA and now deals like this with Ericsson's !!!

You've got to wonder what this really means for WIND ? For example what sort of market share might WIND have in the Bluetooth enabled device arena ?

Also, if a Bluetooth enabled device runs on VxWorks then I assume the rest of the devices functionality will also run on VxWorks (why have 2 OSs). Perhaps this ties in with the release of VxWorks AE and "protection domains" technology, i.e., making sure that different areas of functionality of a device do not interfere with each another.

It's also interesting that Ericsson's is showing an interest in WIND's products.
