Since the downgrades, INTC stock was off about 20%. Today's upgrade confirms what the analyst wanted to do when he initially downgraded the stock, lower the price so he could buy more. I suppose if I were one of his clients and was NOT a trader, I would be pretty disappointed with this type of analysis. Steve, you pointed out that the traders and analysts came back from vacation at the beginning of Sept, no doubt disappointed at missing the nice run from the middle to the end of August. Whether or not this flip-flop is directly a result of summer vacations, it sure seems to give support to your theory.
