<<Are we supposed to believe that this company developed this medicine for dogs, and then just decided to get it approved for human use? Come on now, even you can't swallow that big a pill. This is a drug company covering it's a*s.>>

Just like a liberal to post only 1/2 of the story. Yes I can believe that a company would develope a medicine for dogs and after more testing get it approved for humans. Ever hear of Rimadyl? It's been used for dogs for years and recently approved for humans.

The PRMA said it takes 12 to 15 years and about $500 million on average to develop a safe and effective drug for humans. The Animal Health Institute estimates that the average animal-only drug requires $20 million of research and development.
