But Gore is not proposing modest adjusting of the economy. He is proposing spending all the surplus plus 1 trillion more and taking over the health care system. Thus I prefer Bush.

Surely you jest. Nobody in politics nowadays keeps their promises. They promise one thing and do another based on who pays them the most. Why would the republicans have to follow their promises more than the dems follow theirs?

Who brainwashed you. Alan Greenspan is running the economy, and he will have his job no matter who is elected. The simple fact is that the republicans and dems. are fighting so much, nothing is getting done; and until the intra-party infighting stops, nothing will. And until we get the money out of Washington, we will never have representative government.
