Re OT Tony, Have I caught the linguistic trapeze artist in a gaffe? Tony Spelling errors hardly count for gaffes. It's tough editing your own stuff. However, I invariably write quite when I mean quiet. The error would seem hardwired in my mind on the level of an engram. I can't quit it - unless some kind, kindred gaffer CATCHES me in their net or on the net or whatever. :) Quite irritating actually!
