Booting to DOS or Win98 ...

I really don't know how PM does it, but I'll share with you how my system works in this department.

In my C:\MSDOS.SYS file, there are a couple of lines under the [Options] heading which may be of interest. I'll cut-and-paste a good chunk of my MSDOS.SYS for you:

[Options]
BootMulti=0
BootGUI=1
BootMenu=1
BootMenuDelay=2

The key for me, is the last two lines, BootMenu and BootMenuDelay. The first causes a menu to appear which allows me to pick among various Windows GUI or DOS command line options. The second gives me two seconds to make up my mind.

The BootMulti has been disabled because I only use the DOS version included with Win98. The BootGUI is enabled because if I'm not quick, I want regular Win98 to appear.

The other junk was edited out to make this post concise.

Cheers, PW.
