Tuesday, Sep 19, 2000 12:38 PM ET China Unicom Due to Issue Tender for CDMA2000 China Unicom President Yang Xianzu met with Korea¡¯s Minister of Information and Communication Ahn Byong-yub Tuesday in a breakfast meeting in Seoul. His firm has acquired a license from the Chinese government to operate mobile phone services in China and Yang told the minister that his firm would issue a tender for a CDMA2000 service system around the end of this year or early next year.
