Hi Zeev Hed; Yeah, the middle one was a bit much. But the whole paragraph was a gross ad hominem attack. In addition to suggesting that Micron was driven by personal motives, that Infineon was just the Germans acting up again, you suggested that Hyundai was being bribed to sue Rambus. Go back and try to reread it from a neutral point of view, you were way, way, way out of line. For reference, you had written: ""Barry, I think that Micron's case, it is a stupid personal vendetta, in Infineon case, a faulty Teutonic superiority complex, and in the case of Hyundai, they must have been seduced by Micron and Infineon and I know not nor can I fathom the bounty promised." -- Carl By the way, as far as I know (and in the US it can get hard to tell) I have no German blood at all, so that does not influence me. I do know what happened in WW2 and before, but unlike most people, I don't ascribe the horrors of that period to Hitler, or to the German people. Instead, I think any country is capable of that sort of thing, given the right historical conditions. (Read Gibbons, for instance, those were the same humans in 100AD as in 1933.) I don't mean to absolve them of the blame, though it is getting a bit dated, but I definitely want to avoid having a "more civilized than thou" attitude with respect to Germans. There, but for the grace of God, go we all. It will be another 100 years before they will really be able to "forget" about it.
