George Bell accomplishments: 13. HE'S LEAVING!!! This is the single best news coming out of ATHM in a year or more! AT&T is not going to replace Bell with another quiche-miester.It will be someone with a hard core networking background. Stock is taking a pounding after hours and I'm dancing around the house with joy. Its a funny world. Bought a big position after hours at an average of 15 1/4. Who knows if I'll regret it or not. They said i a press release that Bell got canned by Armstrong at exactly 1:30, 6 minutes after the public airing of YOUR POST. In private behind doors meetings they said the heat on the chat board was just too much and they realized Mr. Bell had to go. KB, I heard the real reason Ah has not been around is that like Liberman with Gore, he has been wisked away by the black corporate sedan of AT&T and has been in intense breifings for the last three weeks. He may be the next CEO. :O) :O) :O) :O) Bell... Off to see the wizard and the yellow brick road. If he writes a book about his time with ATHM will it sell any copies? After the market digests the REAL significance of his departure this should also help long term price.
